As Australia’s largest carpet manufacturer, Godfrey Hirst endorses and recognises all rights of the consumer under the Australian Consumer Law.All our products are manufactured to stringent manufacturing standards under a management system independently and externally certified as complying with ISO9001 (Quality Assurance & Management Systems) and ISO14001 (Environmental Management Systems). Godfrey Hirst is proud of our manufacturing processes and guarantee all our carpets against defects in materials and workmanship. Our Australian After Sales Service team can be relied upon to respond to any consumer queries or concerns with our products.
Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In addition, Godfrey Hirst products come with a range of performance guarantees for carpets when used in an owner occupied residential premises, tailored to the specific product and its attributes. Any individual product’s guarantee can be established by checking the labels on the back of carpet samples or by asking the retailer.

Our carpets are created in either cut pile, loop pile or a combination of the two styles. The following information will help you to select the best style to suit your needs and create the look that you are after.
Cut Pile
Cut pile carpets are manufactured by cutting the yarn loops which produces an upright pile that has a more luxurious, formal look than loop pile.

A luxurious feel and a smooth textured finish.
Loop Pile
Loops of yarn create a stylish finish with a soft, smooth feel and can have a range of distinctive patterns created by a combination of higher and lower loops.

A distinct textured loop finish created by a simple loop. - Multi Level Loop Pile
A textured finish made using loops of various heights.
