Pegulan Floor Coverings Pty Ltd (est. 1974) is a family owned and operated business that has been providing high quality, luxury flooring solutions to the Australian retail flooring trade for over 2 generations. Originally a German manufacturer in its own right since 1946, Pegulan merged with Tarkett in 1987, with this stable and beneficial relationship continuing to this day. More now than ever, there is increasing consumer interest in how the quality of materials, as well as design and decoration, create well-being and healthy living spaces. With our manufacturer, Pegulan has developed our Luxury Vinyl to contribute to an improved indoor environment and air quality.

For a many years we have focused on making flooring with low and extremely low emissions –from 10 to 100 times below the most stringent European regulations. Now we are going a step further by removing phthalates from our vinyl flooring to also contribute to improve indoor environments. The phthalate-free plasticizers selected by our manufacturer are REACH approved for food contact containers and can be used for toys intended to be placed in the mouth by children.
